Where should I improve?

Self-assess your innovation management system.

What is this all about?

Corporate innovation is always under pressure to do more with less. More outcomes, more revenues, more support of Core, more AI, more Sustainability, … with less resources, less patience, and less tolerance for “failures.”

To “do more with less,” you need to upgrade the innovation management system. Singular improvement actions will not take you very far if the system does not support it. Set aside 20-30 minutes and you will get more clarity.

The survey is based on strong reference models (ISO 56002 and Lean Scaleup). The questions are designed to uncover the differences between “ok” and “very good” innovation management systems. The report that we generate for you will show you potential leverage points for upgrading your innovation management system.

Make it a team exercise.

Running this self-assessment with colleagues and stakeholders can provide additional insights.

Simply ask the people you have in mind to conduct the survey independently. The survey results show where there is consensus about the elements of your company’s innovation management system that are already “very good.” These elements should not be prioritized unless new challenges arise.

Similarly, if there is consensus about the elements that are “ok,” you might want to see them as candidates for upgrading. And finally, if you find that there is a discrepancy in survey responses where some people see an element to be “very good,” while others disagree, you have found elements that should be discussed.
